What an absolutely unique and creative plot and setting...I was delighted to receive an Advance Review Copy of this book because the moment I read the plot description (for that matter, the moment I saw the gorgeous cover!) I was completely obsessed with the idea of reading it! Now of course the risk is that when you get the actual book, it will let you down--but rest assured that was NOT the case with this awesome book. It was a quick read, but primarily because I could not put it down once I started. The setting of the catacombs is exactly what you would expect it to be--thrilling and chilling at the same time. It's a dark book, and you should definitely be prepared to have a strong emotional reaction to it--this is not one to read in a public place unless you are comfortable crying in front of strangers! This is the first book I've read by this author and I definitely hope there will be more.
