I recently finished reading "Under the Surface" by Diana Urban, and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book follows the story of a teenage girl named Samantha who is struggling to come to terms with her new life in a small town after moving from the city. However, things take a dark turn when she discovers a body in the lake and starts to uncover the town's secrets.

The plot is well-crafted and keeps you engaged throughout the book. The characters are well-developed, and you can't help but feel invested in their stories. I particularly liked Samantha's character, who is strong, independent, and not afraid to stand up for herself.

One thing that stood out to me was the author's writing style. The descriptions were vivid and painted a clear picture of the setting and characters. The pacing was also perfect - not too slow, not too fast - and kept me engaged until the very end.

Overall, I would highly recommend "Under the Surface" to anyone looking for a thrilling and well-written YA mystery novel. Diana Urban has done an excellent job with this book, and I can't wait to read more of her work in the future.
