This books gives off very atmospheric, catastrophic, eerie vibes and I'm sold. To me it has very similar concepts that of As Above So Below, which also takes place under the Paris catacombs where a group of "so called friends" have gotten trapped. Concepts dealing with love, betrayal, fear, guilt which are especially heightened while being trapped in a dark, catastrophic, never ending maze like, eerie underworld. It's also a scary notion knowing that real people get lost in the catacombs on a daily basis, and many people have lost their lives exploring. It's frightening knowing that you might never make it out even known there's an entire, living, breathing city above you. So close yet so far away. What lurks just beneath the city streets- our feets we'll never truly know..
