My first thought while reading the First Look was "Wow, this doesn't sound like anything I've ever read before!" And that's definitely a good thing. I'm always on the lookout for something new and different in my reading.
I love the idea of people lost (and facing unknown danger) in the Paris catacombs, as well as the idea that Ruby and a new guy are the ones lost, while her potential love interest searches for her. Which one will she end up with, assuming she survives "Under the Surface"!
