I had mixed feelings about this novel after her cover reveal. But now after reading the excerpt, I'm totally on board with the way the novel is progressing thus far. I've read all of Urban's prior novels and thought that These Deadly Games was her best work out of all of her novels. But Under the Surface ranks up there now and I can't wait to read the rest of the novel to find out what happens next. Glad I pre-ordered a finished copy.
