From the very first pages, I knew I was in for a treat! I was immediately hooked and quickly became invested in this novel. I adore the setting and the sprinkling of french vocabulary throughout - it certainly adds an extra layer of intrigue! I like the cover, but feel it doesn’t quite do the book justice - I wish it was a bit more eye-catching to match the excitement level of the plot! Nonetheless, I can’t wait to keep reading and find out what happens next as the friends further explore Paris and the catacombs!
