So I love horror and all things scary and halloween. This very much gave me Friday the 13th vibes with Murders at a Camp involving a lake as well. I enjoyed the twists and turns of Olivia finding out that her father isn't her biological father but was murdered and Reagan trying to prove her mother's innocence. It gave the perfect balance of teenage angst and thriller especially for the targeted audience. I also absolutely LOVE the cover. One of the better covers I have seen in a long time. I love the use of the arrow since it has a significance in the story.

I don't usually mind reading YA but this is a YA novel that you can tell this is a YA novel that is definitely geared towards the younger readers. I still thoroughly enjoyed reading this ARC and will most likely hand off to my daughter to read since she has similar tastes. I think this is a good quick story for anyone to read.
