I just got this Advance Review Copy earlier this week and I've already finished the book, so that should tell you something good about it! I sat down thinking I would read just a chapter or two, and hours later I was still in that chair. I guess I should have seen it coming, because I was a big fan of "How to Survive Your Murder," and I think it's pretty clear that I'm going to love anything written by Danielle Valentine. This one was even better than HTSYM, to be honest. The book also lent itself to a quick read, because the action was really fast-paced. There were plenty of thrilling moments and plot twists, just as you would hope with this genre. It was also just really creepy in a way that a lot of these types of thrillers generally aren't--usually they get you with the action, and this one definitely does that, but it also gets you by setting a really unsettling mood that was exactly what I wanted! Highly recommend.
