Pretty satisfying!
This one was pretty satisfying as far as ya thrillers go. It gave the 80's horror/90's thriller/slasher vibes that I was hoping for. It had a great, satisfying ending. The twists were pretty good. The characters were vivid, the comedic relief moments were on point, and it had a good amount of build up and intensity. Definitely a recommended read for lovers of this genre!
It was refreshing in comparison to How To Survive Your Murder, because, for some reason I just did not enjoy that one at all. This one was way more enjoyable. I am also in awe at how this author can write so many different books with different styles under different pen names. I was worried that I would not enjoy this one like HTSYM, but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it almost as much as Survive the Night and the Merciless series, even though the writing styles are different.
Thanks for the e-arc, Penguin Teen!
