This book was intriguing and had me on the edge of my seat. From the beginning, the readers get a scene of a girl running through the woods. We know someone was killed and witnesses a horrible crime.
The characters were interesting enough for the readers to get to know. The main characters are hiding major secrets along with their families. They want to find out the truth to different mysteries. One girl wants to clear her family’s name and the other wants to know the truth about her birth.
The story reminds me of Friday the 13th movie. The settings of the small town and the camp sets the mood for the book.
