A solid four star read, Two Sides to Every Murder is the perfect fast-paced thriller.

Set in a small town, the book follows two girls who find themselves exploring the mystery of murders committed the year they were born, leading to an intense and gory encounter with a killer.

Sure, it’s not the most mind blowing or original read, but it’s enjoyable, easy to read, and worth your time. It’s no wonder I that I read this book in one night, in one sitting.

From my first look of the beginning of the book, I was hooked. Valentine is skilled in vivid descriptions to set the scene and forming characters that are actually like able, all through a plot that flows well.

I highly recommend this to all my fellow thriller lovers, even if you don’t usually like YA.

And how fitting is it that I happened to read the book of an author named Valentine on Valentine’s Day?
