When I began the First Look for “Two Sides to Every Murder,” I fully expected this to be a run-of-the-mill young adult thriller. Perhaps it was because of the cover, which is reminiscent of many other new books and just felt basic. However, to my surprise, the start of this book was unexpectedly great! I loved how each chapter was told from another character’s perspective and how, even though it’s just the beginning, we are already getting a glimpse into how the different character’s stories will intertwine. I’m eager to read on and find out more about the “Witch of Lost Lake,” who I suspect isn’t actually Lori. I also can’t wait to find out the connection between Olivia and Reagan (sisters perhaps?). Something tells me this book will be full of twists and turns and I’m here for it!
