The excerpt is engaging right off the bat. The story moves quickly with both Olivia and Reagan being interesting characters. Some of the names get complicated, especially when dealing with the parents and their relationship to each other at various points. However, it is not too hard after taking a moment to figure everything out. And this is not uncharacteristic of a mystery thriller.
One of my favorite things overall is the nod to The Parent Trap. The setting at the camp and the girls who are identical add an interesting layer to the plot.
Though it is a YA novel, it does not feel too childish. I cannot wait until this book is out, so I can see what happens next!
