The dual storylines are interesting. I'm generally up for a good murder mystery but any YA mystery I have read has been pretty predictable. YA isn't a genre I usually enjoy, because often the characters and story are just too young for me. So far the characters are okay, depends on how much the "twists" actually deliver.
