I'm really grateful I got a chance to read this book. I really enjoyed the story line and found the plot very interesting. I really liked the author's writing style and liked the character development. I thought the story was interesting and found it to be an easy quick read which I kind of needed right now. I appreciated the inclusion of the dynamics of being a daughter of immigrants and the way the story tied in culture and history into the story. I thought that the author did a really great job of addressing important and relatable topics such as how difficult dynamics between families can be, what it feels like to deal with family expectations and also the typical stressors that come from being in high school. One other thing I really liked was the cover of the book. It looks much better in person and I enjoyed how it wrapped around the whole book. I would definitely recommend this book!
