This book is about a girl who is named Adanna or Ada for short. Well, actually here family and her friends/family call her Ada but the people in school calls her Sophia. She is basically a straight A student who has her whole life planned out already. Every step and every class she is taking, is all towards her becoming a lawyer. In her household there is three thing you could become, a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer. Her mother is a Doctor and her father is an engineer. Ada's oldest brother was going to school to become and engineer but he dropped out because he wasn't happy. And because of that, their parents kicked him out. And so because of that, there was added pressure on Ada to become basically be the perfect child. To make her parents happy in following what they want no matter if that's what she wants out of life.
