A (NO SPOILER REVIEW). After a very long reading slump, I finally picked up a book from the shelf. After picking up twice as perfect, I absolutely loved the story. Adanna is such an incredible beautifully written character. I also found this story to be very funny. I enjoyed reading the wedding planning and shenanigans that Adanna had with her family, especially cousin!! I was dying from laughter the entire time. But overall I think this is a good read. However, I don’t know exactly what it was but I felt like there was just something missing in this novel that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. But overall it was a good read and I definitely would recommend it to other reader. This story is for family, love, lost, and so much more. From chapter to chapter I felt very close to the characters, not to mention the incredible Nigerian culture that it has!
