Right off the bat, this book read so fun and cute! We are thrown into a scene with our main character interacting with a close family friend, which allows us to get a great picture of how she truly acts in her daily life. The characterization and writing style both read great for a younger audience (like YA) and lend their hand to a tone of both importance and a casual tone with the reader, to make them more comfortable, and more sympathetic, to the characters! A great contemporary read!
