While YA Contemporary is right up my alley, this didn't strike any chords with me. The concept is beautiful! The blend of diversity, sibling loyalty and moral sounded promising. Unfortunately there was no connection formed between myself, the story and the characters through the first impression. Admittedly some of the dialogue was also difficult to understand and I found my mind wandering off.
