I feel like Twice As Perfect could be a good story, but I also feel like the beginning of the book introduces too many story lines too quickly. It leaves the reader wondering if the wedding prep is the main story, the debate competition is the main story, or if Ada's relationship is the main story. The synopsis makes me think they're all equal, which means the author has a task ahead of her weaving them together so it all works.
