So many things going on with Adanna (Sophie.) A wedding, an upcoming debate competition and the unexpected abandonment of the family by her brother. Needless to say, there's just too many things going on and I didn't quite appreciate the lengthly discourse on cultural appropriation.
I'm sure there are a number of readers that will enjoy this book, but I am not one of them.
