Immediately, I was drawn into the double life that Ana revealed to the audience. I feel as though the aspects of being a culturally diverse person in a "white-oriented" society were portrayed beautifully. I can already sense the battle Ana will face between the life she wants and the life her parents want for her as imminent. I want to read more to see her family trauma and the story behind Ana's brother, Sam.
