From the very first line, this book grabbed me. The characters seem to be fully fleshed out and have their own interior lives, which is hard to show within the first few pages, but it's been done in this book. Plus, the first few lines of the second chapter really set the scene beyond the first chapter. I look forward to reading the entire book!
