While I think this book will be very uplifting and informative for some, I can't say that reading the excerpt made me feel like I needed to read any further. I'm not a self-help book type of person. In addition, though I'm a POC, I still don't feel like I fit into the targeted demographic of this book. And that's perfectly fine. It's just not my usual choice of reading materials.
