While I think this book is important- I don't think this is a book that I want to read. I'm very picky about my nonfiction books. I'm trying to read more, I swear I am, but this isn't one that I want to read. I think this is a book that should be published and is important. We need more books written by POC authors. I just don't feel like this is a book that I will feel a connection to. I would rather the book go to someone who really wants to read it.
