This looks like an important book that will encourage black readers and educate the rest of us. As a parent of biracial children, I’ve witnessed so much of this struggle firsthand and it’s deeply distressing. I think books like this are impactful to the non-target audience and shouldn’t be passed by, no matter what the color of your skin may be.
