The concept of the book is appealing as I continue to educate myself on the experiences of Black Americans. Hearing it firsthand from different interviews should be fascinating, as I’m used to seeing more one viewpoint memoirs or history based books on the topic. I wish a page or two of the main pet of the book was included as it’s hard to visualize what the format will be like, I.e. verbatim interviews or if they’re translated to more narrative stories. Either way, I’m intrigued to learn more.
