Although I am not black myself, I am an educator in high school, and I have many students who are black. I found this excerpt to be both informative and eye-opening. I'm sure let them book is very well researched and and talks about many stereotypes that black people face in the workforce and in everyday life. I want to read this book because it will help me understand better what black people go through, and it will help me to prevent workplace and school racism when it happens. I will definitely keep an eye out for this book so that I can learn more about anti-black racism and to do my part in stopping it.
