I was very happy seeing a racial justice book that empowers the black community instead of the constant media reinforcement telling them that they are victims. Positivity brings positivity. You get what you put out into the universe. Law of attraction .. etc. I like that they’re honest about the struggles that one can face when trying to make it in this world but there’s so many positive examples that with hard work, dedication and faith.. you CAN overcome any obstacle.
