This seems like a very relevant book to the struggles that have been occurring in our nation and that have become more known in the past year. No longer can we bury our head in the sand and pretend that they don't exist. This book gave an impression of helping our Black peers. It also helps us allies to learn what their experience is like and though it does not seem to be written for us that does not mean we cannot learn from it and how to help.
