From the first pages of this book, I was immediately transported to the vivid streets of Brooklyn. I was drawn in to the festival detailed in the opening scene of the story, and I can't wait to read more of Gil's experiences, and I think the idea of dealing with the racism at elite prep schools by utilizing tactics from The Art of War is a unique perspective to bring into a story-can't wait to read the full story!
