I like the bright bold color of the cover. Gil wants to be given the education he deserves yet the school itself is for the elite and not diverse, which is a lot of what happens in the real world past, present, and I'm sure will still be seen in the future. Private schools have always been a hard fit for anyone that doesn't check the boxes of what type of student should go there. Gil is a scholarship kid which looks poor to the rich kids, he isn't the race accepted or treated equal to most of his other peers. This seems to be a very inspiring book facing odds stacked against not just other people but society itself.
