This book opens with a Caribbean festival that is like the Fourth of July, celebrating freedom and unity. During this festival we learn that the main character is moving away. This seems like it would be an interesting story with a very diverse cast. I am interested to find out why the book opens with a quote from The art of war, and how it would tie into the story. The cover is nice.
