Don Hooper’s dialogue among the characters seems to be “ right on”. At least to my mind it reflects the way the characters would talk. I like young Gil and his friends and am in his cheering squad for success at his new school where he will face many challenges. The excerpt offered seems to be the beginning of an interesting story.
