What a fun little book! I love that the family all has some sort of psychic connection. If you loved Encanto, you'll love this book. It's full of ghost action and I think will be a great read for Middle-Graders. There's nothing scary, just lots of fun. Paloma can channel spirits and communicate with them, just like her famous Grandmother. She also can see premonitions with flowers and discover their meanings. She's just come into her powers so she has a lot to learn. Her parents have decided they want to move to California, away from all of her family in Florida. So besides trying to figure out her new powers, she also has to figure out life in California and deal with her pesky little sister, Magdalena. It's a fast paced book and will keep you entertained. I must mention, being part Hispanic, I loved that aspect of the book as well. The huge, close-knit family and all the Spanish references.
