This book was a fun read. It definitely kept my interest. The story was so creative, unique, and fun! I would totally read more by this author if she writes more. Though this book was written for middle grade children, I, a 32 year old still LOVED it! I would suggest it for kids, teens and adults! Just a wonderful story. Dealt with a couple of serious topics, but still had humor. I would also recommend this to kids about to move because that’s what the main character does, but she still manages to be happy even though she is not happy about the move. If anyone has any interest in the paranormal, especially ghosts & spirits I recommend this. Paloma and her Abuela remind me of the Long Island medium. I also loved the fact that palomas “gift “ was centered around flowers. What a special and and awesome variation on her family’s “gifts “ that they each have.
