This is a super cute, clean middle grades book, for truly the middle grades child. So many books now are trying to push agendas-- All which children ages 10-12 (or younger) may not understand or be equipped to handle at their age. This book was lovely and funny, allowing for kids to be kids.
In fact, this is a book that I will save for my children, for when they grow a little older and are reading chapter books independently (or I am reading the books to them). Many times I donate or give away books that I have already read, to make room for new books, but this one I will keep.
I loved the whimsy of the cover, that really gives you the true idea of what this book is about, all in one glance. This is colorful and playful, and will definitely rope in children and young adults of all ages.
