I'll be honest, this book didn't hook me from the beginning and I found it similar to another one I read this year for the first chunk, but by about the halfway mark I was much more interested in it and ended up really liking it.

The book follows Paloma as she moved away from her friends and family in Florida to a California where she doesn't know anyone. In an attempt to get her Abuela's attention so she'll bring Paloma with her on her Psychic Tour, Paloma starts a social media page where she does readings for her classmates.

I liked that even though almost everyone in Paloma's family saw or spoke to ghosts, their powers still felt unique. Her flower predictions added an extra bit of fun to her already cool power of seeing ghosts. I also enjoyed how the characters interacted, especially how her relationship with her sister grew and bettered through the book.
