A couple of things that caught my eye right off the bat. First, the cover is amazing. Bright colors and very eye-catching. Second, loved the helpful family tree at the beginning. The story starts out with our main character discussing her and her family's psychic abilities. She talks a lot about her Abulea and goes into talking to her first spirit. I enjoed the writing, the pace was good and the characters were strong.
