As an elementary school teacher who teaches in an inner city school , I am always looking for great reads that include minority characters in a positive light. I feel that "Totally Psychic" by Brigid Martin is one of these novels. Even though "Totally Psychic" is marketed as a middle school novel, I feel that most of my elementary students would be able to read, understand and enjoy this well-written story. I'm looking forward to reading more about Paloma Ferrer and her psychic adventures!
