Gifted abilities and a muggle life
In a modern world set-up, the story revolves around our teenage girls. One of whom has the gift to communicate with the dead. Moving to a new city has not dampened her spirits, in fact, she plans to take her psychic abilities to the next level and make her name in the world. But when of the séances goes off track, she needs more than just her gifted abilities to pop out of the difficult situation.
Targeted for middle-grade readers, the book has simplistic writing and a constant pace. I liked that the book did not take a lot of time to build the plot and kicked off pretty quickly. Connecting the ghostly environment to a modern world including social media was a good choice to keep it relatable with the focused audience. It looks to be a promising book with engaging characters.
