Praise for Skyla Arndt’s debut novel, the YA horrormance Together We Rot! After reading this one, Arndt has definitely become a writer to watch.

Together We Rot follows the story of Wil trying to prove the local cult leader’s involvement in her mother’s disappearance a year ago. Meanwhile, the cult leader’s son Elwood goes on the run after discovering the sinister use the town - and his father - has for him. Together, Elwood and Wil must team up to keep him safe and expose the dark underbelly (literally) of the remote Michigan town. Once best friends and now sworn enemies, they must overcome their resentment of each other or risk losing everything.
• What I Loved: The plot, the prose, the depth in which each character was written, the wit and banter, the twists and turns, EVERYTHING!
• What I Didn’t Love: I wanted it to be a little bit longer, but for purely selfish reasons.
