I am here to confirm that it is in fact, the creepiest yet most beautiful love story you have ever read. It was one of those books I could not put down, and I had tears streaming down my face when I finished it. Absolutely breathtaking, I couldn’t recommend it more. Wil is the tough, hard-to-love, but easy-to-root-for female protagonist we love to see in young adult novels. Not to mention, Elwood is the soft, field-frolicking forest boyfriend every girl wants. I absolutely love the dynamic between our two lead characters, they make this brilliant novel plot-driven as well as character-driven. And, I would like to let my fellow educators know that it is appropriate for a classroom library, but it has some graphic themes and language.
