If you're a fan of young adult and fantasy, this book is for you. I really enjoyed the shifting perspectives between the two main characters and I was drawn into the plot from the first chapter. I read this book in two sittings because I couldn't put it down. I was initially drawn to this book from the cover art, I think it is very interesting and it caught my eye almost immediately. I feel as if the cover does a wonderful job of representing the vibes of the book. I enjoyed the character relationship dynamics and the plot very much and I'm hoping this author has some other books that I can check out. I haven't read very many young adult novels as I am still trying to incorporate novels into my reading hobby but I think this was a great one. The plot flowed very smoothly and I liked the conversations between characters, it felt like very realistic events that could occur save the fantasy aspects.
