I am not much for horror, and despite that, I enjoyed reading the excerpt that helps draw us as readers into the world of Elwood and Wil. The eerie atmosphere that is being set up and is enshrouded in mystery is something that makes me want to keep reading. I want more from author and this book. It’s the type of book with tropes such as young adults/teens trying to solve mysteries that makes it a bit reminiscent of stranger things and the like. I’m looking forward to reading the book when it releases.
