Without a doubt this is not a book for me. The description alone is too creepy for my tastes. That said, I read a bit of the excerpt so I’d be able to review the excerpt at least.
This excerpt is well written. I liked Wilhemena (Wil) right away. She’s personally trying to look into her mother’s disappearance. This is both harder and more important because the local police have given up on her mom. They’re absolutely sure that her mom just left town without word. Wil knows her mom wouldn’t do this. She keeps going back to the police with new clues and potential evidence so they actually investigate this as a missing person case. Wil thinks the creeper preacher in town has something to do with it,
