The cover got my eye it's mysterious creepy dark.The story as soon as I saw it I was getting an idea of what it was about a mom disappearance her daughter knows that she didn't just walk away (personally I wouldn't be surprised if the author didn't throw in a curve and she did leave on her own) and believes her best friend's family had something to do with it then he wants help being protected by his cult family he dreads his birthday because he will have to join his dad in what he does.Hope the book doesn't disappoint and fall flat.
