Wil Green's mother went missing from their rural Upper Michigan community over a year ago. The local police have been less than cooperative with their investigation - they suggest they she left voluntarily, but Wil knows there was foul play. Wil is doing the best she can to investigate and find answers on her own, including posting and soliciting theories and evidence in her own online forum. Deep down, she suspects that the family of her former best friend must be involved. Right out of the gate, I loved the character of Wil and I'm excited to see where she goes. She was plucky and smart, she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself and take matters into her own hands. I'm eager to see how she solves this mystery.
