I didn’t know horroromance was a genre that could appeal to me this much, but Together We Rot by Skyla Arndt is such a compelling (but also kind of horrific?) read. I’m already so invested in the characters and the story, which I honestly didn’t think I would based on the plot summary. The cover does a really good job of giving visual cues of the mish-mash of genres — the clinch pose is very romance, while the colors and the figures are delightfully creepy.
