I have never read a horror- romance YA book before so this read was very interesting. There is a lot of very descriptive writing and spooky metaphors which makes for some good writing. The storyline seemed a little chaotic and hard to follow. I’m not sure if it’s Wil’s internal thoughts chiming in or the jumps in scenes. However, the storyline did pick up after awhile and was very thrilling. I kind of need to know what happens between Elwood and Wil. I love the friends to enemies to question mark and the dynamic between the two characters and their family. I also love the artwork on the cover! Intriguing but a little chaotic.
